Linda Robbins

September 27, 1942 - July 23, 2025

Linda Kay Robbins passed from this life to eternal peace on July 23, 2025, in Sherman, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1942, in Muncie, Indiana, to Lloyd E. and Agnes Elizabeth Powell.

Linda was a Navy baby and moved frequently with her family, eventually leaving their home state of Indiana and settling in Dallas, Texas. She married Ronnie Clyde Robbins on June 19, 1979, and they recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary.

Linda loved her husband, son, and family with fierce devotion. She always brought laughter, love, and—when needed—a good dose of honesty and reality to anyone lucky enough to call her a friend. She was known and loved by numerous friends and extended family, many of whom she kept in touch with over the decades. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family – we aren’t a large family, but we are mighty!

Linda was the rock of her family, always available with love, support, and a remedy for any problem. She is remembered in love by her husband, Ronnie C. Robbins; her son, Robert Honey and wife Linda; her grandson, Joshua Honey and wife Lauren; her granddaughter, Amanda Honey; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ethan Honey; and her precious Malti-poo, Pebbles. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Powell and wife Pat; her sister, Peggy McCully and husband Donny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She taught us so much, but she failed to teach us how to live without her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel, 511 FM 120, Pottsboro, TX 75076. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Linda’s honor to DAWG: https://denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org
