I’m thinking about when me and Howard stayed with Uncle Al and Aunt Nora and she made a couple of hot cherry pies and and everyone had hot pie and chocolate ice cream. Mmmmmm it sure was good.

I also remember when I was about 14 or 15 grandma was mad at grandpa and wanted somebody to comeand get her. So Aunt Nora and I left that night and she let me drive the blue dodge dart all the way to Goodrich to get grandma.

I’ll never forget the happy memories of spending Christmas time with Aunt Nora and Uncle Al when I was 16. Aunt Nora was so gracious, making sure my siblings and I each received a special gift. And she poured her love into each meal she served, too. Staying with her and the family for the holiday is one of the fondest childhood memories I have and which I will never forget. Aunt Nora made everyone who knew her feel special and loved. Judy Durfy (daughter of Walter Yert Jr)
