Eileen “Carol” Roman, 69, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Chapel with David Paher officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Carol was born on December 11, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Chester and Nell Spencer Wayne. She graduated from Denison High School in 1962 and attended college. she married Ron Roman on April 3, 1985 in Winchester, Kentucky. Mrs. Roman retired from Wal-Mart Company and then was a homemaker. She was a member of the church of Christ and had a love for animals, she continuously donated to the Humane Society for their care.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Strickland, Spencer Strickland, Charles Bedard, Richard Patterson, Michael Black, Wayne Champion, Seth Kee and Scott Ray.
The family suggest memorials to the donor’s favorite charity.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ron Roman of Denison; sons, Kyle Strickland of Denison and Spencer Strickland and his wife, Amy of Columbia, South Carolina; daughter, Julie Roman Dryden and her husband, Donny of Denison; sister, Virginia Horning and her husband, Elliott of North Fort Myers, Florida and grandchildren, Carolina and Evie Strickland of South Carolina and Seth and Liam of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wayne.
