She made the best bbq beans I’ve ever had!! My mother (her daughter) loved her so much. I remember visiting her at the church secretary office and that green carpet! I remember her hair was always perfect. She was always impeccably dressed. She loved my Pawpaw (her husband Carl) so much. She had the best smile. And she raised beautiful, adoring and awesome children. So many good memories of her. A good person with a fiery spirit.

“Jerry” was known to me as my Maw maw. My mother was her daughter, Carol Howington. I loved my grandmother very much. She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile. She was an amazing cook as well. I miss her baked beans and desserts. I wish she knew how much I loved her toward the end of her life, but she got angry with me in 2005. I said something that was taken wrong and she didn’t talk to me much again. I still loved her so much. I saw her when she was in the hospital and I hope she knew I was there. I kissed her cheek and told her goodbye and that I loved her. I sat there for an hour just hoping she would see and talk to me.. I hope my family knows how much I loved her and them. When I lost my mom to brain cancer I lost every bit of my heart. I know my Maw Maw is in Heaven. I hope she knows I love her..
