Pottsboro – Mary I. Pellman, 71, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 in Denison, Texas.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel. Terry Pellman will officiate. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Pellman, Rick Pellman, Orley Mullins, Mike Pellman, Tyler Pellman and Charles Naron.
Mary was born February 1, 1941 in Bolivar, New York, the daughter of Floren Charles and Rosetta Marie Benson Haberer. She received her schooling in Mojave, California. Mary married Robert C. Pellman in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 1, 1959.
Mrs. Pellman worked at Pottsboro I.S.D., was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, V.F.W. Auxillary and the Elks Lodge. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert C. Pellman of Pottsboro; sons, Mike Pellman and his wife, Betty of Bailey, Colorado and Rick Pellman and his wife, Stefanie of Pottsboro; daughter, Debbie Pellman of Denison; brothers, Ace Haberer of Sherman, Larry Haberer and his wife, Connie of Sherman and George Haberer and his wife, Annette of Canton, Texas; sister, Barbara Turbury and her husband, Rod of Bolivar, New York; grandchildren, Chris Stewart, Nick Pellman, Tabitha Naron, Lacie Lucas, Tyler Pellman, Alyssa Pellman and Joseph Pellman; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charlie and her sister, Harriett.
