Henry Audie Flinn, 76 of Denison passed away on Thursday September 18, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born on May 10, 1938 in Sawyer, Oklahoma to Henry Franklin and Mary Martell Flinn. He married Georgianna Craig in Albuquerque, NM on January 16, 1960. Mr. Flinn retired from the US Navy and served as a narcotics investigator while actively enlisted. He was of the Baptist faith and he also owned and operated Flinn Air Conditioning Company for 25 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 2773 and The American Legion Post 62.
Survivors include his son, Roger Allen Flinn and wife Leslie, KL Flinn and wife Barbara, Shawn Flinn and wife Anngee, all of Denison; daughter-in-laws, Krista Flinn of Pottsboro and Theresa Flinn of Bells; Brother Jimmy Mack Mead of Denison; sister, Birdie Flowers of Calera; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgianna Flinn; sons, Henry Martin and Larry Michael Flinn; sister, Lou Bonham; and brother Kenneth Flinn.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Allen Flinn, KL Flinn, Shawn Flinn, Arley Stump, Arley Stump Jr., and his grandchildren
Family visitation will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Services will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank Guardian Hospice for the care they gave our father.
