Services for F.H. Lannom, 76, of Pottsboro, will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel with Dr. Roddy Arnold and Reverend Thomas Beall officiating. Family visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pottsboro Chapel. The chapel will open on Sunday at 2:00 PM for early viewing. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home.

Mr. Lannom passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Hospice HomePlace in Tyler surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 11, 1936 to Fred and Gertrude Lannom. F.H. graduated in 1955 from Denison High School. Shortly after graduating, he married the love of his life, Darleen Tignor on February 16, 1956. His love for the lake and fishing lead him to pursue a career as a fishing guide for many years. He also delivered the Denison Herald for 21 years and was honored in 1972 for delivering over 3.4 million newspapers. Finally, he owned and operated Texoma Shirt & Cap for 25 plus years, until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pottsboro and also a member of the American Legion Post #231.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 42 years, Darleen Lannom, and a granddaughter, Melanie Gatlin.

He is survived by his loving family including children, David Lannom and his wife, Janet of Queen City, TX.; Lisa Gatlin and her husband, Mark of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Bryan Gatlin and his wife, Shanna of Tyler, TX, Christopher Lannom and his wife, Kara; and Matthew Lannom all of Texarkana, TX.; great-grandchildren, Colt and Brooks Lannom of Terarkana, TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Gatlin, Christopher Lannom, Matthew Lannom, Doug Shaw, Damon McIntire, and Brian Medart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard (Dick) Hart, Charlie Sisemore, John St.Clair, Jerry Farrington and Mary Griffith.
