Catherine Diann Smith, 56, passed away at her residence in Pottsboro on Monday, May 13, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Neal Alexander officiating.
Catherine was born on May 7, 1957 in Sherman, Texas. She was the daughter of Tommy and Patsy Guynes Smith. She graduated from Pottsboro High School in 1975 and attended Grayson College. Catherine was a member of the Denison Genealogical Society in Denison and loved to sew, crochet and read.
The family suggests memorials to the SPCA of Texas, 8520 FM 720, McKinney, Texas 75070.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy Smith of Pottsboro; brother, Steve Smith and his wife, Jennifer of Pottsboro; sister, Amy Replogle and her husband, Blake of Inola, Oklahoma; nieces, Caitllyn Smith and Sydney Replogle and nephew, Thomas Smith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Smith; grandfather, W.K. Guynes; grandfather and grandmother, John Thomas and Aggie Smith.
