Thomas Lee Kirkpatrick

Thomas Lee Kirkpatrick, age 63, passed away on May 13, 2026. He was born on June 18, 1962, to Robert Gordon Kirkpatrick Sr. and Nancy Mueller.

Thomas married Treena Renea Berry on August 29, 2009, in Denison, Texas, and they shared many wonderful years together.

After that, Tom enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved spending time at the lake, relaxing on his property, listening to music, and being around animals, especially his dogs and cat. Tom was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. In recent years, he found joy in birdwatching with his wife, Treena.

Tom was known for his sense of humor and for being someone people enjoyed being around. He also helped take care of his mother, always looking out for her and making sure she was cared for.

Tom worked for many years at Encore and Champion Cooler, and was known as a dependable and hardworking employee.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Treena Kirkpatrick; his mother, Nancy Burnett; his daughter, Nanci Anne; his sister-in-law, Beverly Kirkpatrick; his brother-in-law, Richard K. Berry and wife Teresa C. Berry; his father-in-law, Richard T. Berry; his mother-in-law, Harolyn K. Berry; his nephews, Josh, Jeff, Jesse, and Konner Kirkpatrick; and his nieces, Katie Anne Audrey Berry and Margaret Christine Berry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gordon Kirkpatrick Sr., and his brothers, Robert Gordon Kirkpatrick Jr. and James Russell Kirkpatrick.

Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews, Josh, Jeff, and Jesse Kirkpatrick.

There will be a committal graveside service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Preston Bend Cemetery, 98711 Preston Bend Road, Pottsboro, TX 75076.

Tom will be remembered for his humor, his love of the outdoors, and the time he spent with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
