Sonja Jean Stanley, 66, passed away on June 18, 2026. She was born on October 6, 1959, in Denison, Texas, to Jessie and Bobbie Baker and was raised in Pottsboro, Texas.

Sonja dedicated many years of her career to Fisher-Emerson, where she was known for her hard work and commitment. Outside of work, she found joy in creative pursuits such as crocheting and candle making. More than anything, Sonja treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life.

Sonja is survived by her sons, Nichlaus Prewitt and Weldon Prewitt; her granddaughters Annika and Sarah Prewitt; brothers, Torey Baker, Mitchel Baker, and Jeff Baker; her nephew, Cody Baker; her niece, Jessica Payne; her great-nieces Sidney, Shayne, and Scarlett; and great-nephew Silas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Stanley; her parents, Jessie and Bobbie Baker; her brother, Denis Baker; and her sister, Deborah Payne.

Sonja will be remembered for her loving heart, creative spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness, warmth, and the memories she created with those she loved will be cherished forever by all who knew her.
