In Loving Memory of Tyler Donald McCrory

Tyler Donald McCrory
September 1, 1983 – August 3, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyler Donald McCrory, who entered into eternal rest on August 3, 2026, at the age of 42.

Tyler was born on September 1, 1983, in Denison, Texas, to James “Jimmy” McCrory Jr. and Angela Marie McCrory.

Tyler was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend whose kind heart and warm smile touched everyone he met. He truly never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome. Tyler loved visiting with people, sharing stories, and brightening the lives of those around him with his cheerful spirit and genuine compassion.

He had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Tyler dearly loved his nieces and nephews and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Whether he was taking them to the pond, swimming, fishing, or finding new adventures to enjoy together, he created memories they will cherish for a lifetime. He had a special way of showing his love that only an uncle could, making every moment with them fun, memorable, and full of laughter.

Tyler also enjoyed fishing, taking his dad and Uncle Gary on long drives, helping his beloved Memey with projects around the house, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. During every storm or bout of inclement weather, family and friends could always count on Tyler to be their personal weatherman, keeping everyone informed and prepared. His strong work ethic, generous nature, and servant’s heart were evident in everything he did.

Tyler was a skilled arborist and proud co-owner of Tree Solutions Texoma, where he took great pride in his work and in the lasting relationships he built with customers, coworkers, and friends.

The greatest decision of Tyler’s life was giving his heart to the Lord on May 17, 2026. He publicly professed his faith through baptism at Trinity Lighthouse Church on July 19, 2026. His newfound faith brought him peace and hope, and his family finds comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior.

Tyler was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Marie McCrory; his Poppa, James E. McCrory Sr.; his uncle, Jason Elden McCrory; his Papaw, Ralph Donald Patton; grandma Merry Lucille Patton; and mawaw Dorthy Patton.

He is survived by his father, James “Jimmy” McCrory Jr.; his sisters, Candace Tyree and husband, Willie, and Whitney McCrory; his brother, Jamie McCrory and wife, Tabitha; his beloved Memey, Sharron McCrory; his Uncle Gary McCrory; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Kevin, Kaleigh, Hector, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Annalee, Mary, Jax, and Jamison.
