Andrew Wilkes Jones, 63, passed away on June 1, 2026.

Born on April 28, 1963, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Andrew was the beloved son of Fant and Carolyn Jones. He carried his South Carolina roots with pride throughout his life and remained a devoted supporter of the Clemson Tigers.

Andrew graduated from Highland Park High School and went on to earn his Associate Degree from Elkins Institute. He built a successful career in information technology, owning two IT companies and also working for Brinker International in Dallas. His intelligence, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to his work earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

On a beautiful day in August of 2012, Andrew married the love of his life, Michele, in Melissa, Texas. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and cherished memories. They made their home in Calera, Oklahoma.

Andrew was a proud member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and enjoyed exploring his family’s history. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to tell a good joke. He loved discovering hidden gem restaurants, spending time in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and sharing adventures with those he loved.

Above all else, Andrew treasured his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he absolutely adored every moment spent with them. His love, guidance, and unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew him.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Michele Jones; sons, Matthew Jones and wife Lauren, Michael Jones, and Andrew Wiersma; daughters, Katelyn Wiersma and fiancé Richard Bradley, and Jenna Klenda and husband Joshua; grandchildren, Chloe, Eleanor, Mitchell, and Beau; and brothers, Norman Jones, David Jones, and Robert Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fant and Carolyn Jones.

Andrew’s legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
