Betty Grier, 89, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Beacon Hill Nursing Home in Denison.
Betty was born in Denison on October 4, 1928, the daughter of Terrence E. and Margaret Leaghy Fox.
She graduated from St. Xavier Catholic High School. She and William T. Grier were married on September 11, 1946 in Denison, Texas. Betty worked as a telephone operator and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served with the Altar Society at St. Patrick.
She is survived by her husband, William T. Grier and her son, Terry Grier both of Denison.
Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Vogel. Visitation will follow the Rosary.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Stephen Mocio officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: St. Patrick Altar Society or to the building fund, 416 N. Rusk Ave, Denison, TX 75020.
Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home.
