Carol Maxine Taber- Bostelman of Pottsboro, Texas, was called home on August 14, 2023, surrounded by the comfort of her family. Carol was born to Vernon and Bertha (Anderson) Taber on October 30, 1950 in Modesto, California.
Carol loved her family deeply with a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She had a presence that radiated good energy around her. She acquired her associate degree and was a licensed vocational nurse. Her main hobbies consisted of sewing and spending quality time with family. She was a special person that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carol’s legacy of love and care is carried on by her daughter, Kera Stogsdill and husband David of Pottsboro, Texas; son, Anthony Hammons of Iowa and wife Kristina; Twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Kristy Hammons, as well as her brother Eddie Taber, and sister Connie Filkins.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
