Bob Alexander
November 19, 1958 ~ August 20, 2025
Robert “Bob” Carroll Alexander, 66, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away on August 20, 2025.
Born on November 19, 1958, Bob grew up in Oklahoma City and went on to graduate with a degree in Business from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. In 1990, he married the love of his life, Brenda Schmidt, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Bob had a long and successful career in sales with Motorola, a role that allowed him to travel extensively and live in many places across the United States, as well as Guam and Canada. He had a talent for connecting with people and truly excelled at his work.
He found his passion in real estate, working with Tracy Realty in Denison, TX where he valued the opportunity to work with wonderful people and became a true champion of Denison and its surrounding communities.
Outside of his career, Bob was a man of many passions. He loved cars, electronics, and spending time on the lake. He took great pride in perfecting his hamburger recipes. Bob had a deep love for Denison and poured his heart into his community. He proudly served on the board of Denison Chamber of Commerce, as well as architectural and historical committees. Bob was always eager to make the place he called home just a little better.
More than anything, Bob loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda Alexander of Pottsboro, TX; three children, Joshua Alexander and wife Alexandria of Keller, TX, Christopher Alexander and wife Ashley of North lake, TX, and Hannah Alexander of Denison, TX; three cherished grandchildren, Jensen, Azlynn, and Elowynn Alexander; three siblings, Paul Alexander and wife Janet of Monterey, CA, Susan Murrell of Shreveport, LA, and Mary Ellen Alexander and Kent Cheshire of Yukon, OK; and four beloved nieces and nephews, Katy, Jane, Val, Richard, and their families.
In addition, Bob is survived by his real estate partner, Tommi Homuth, and many devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Alexander and Frances Alexander.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeway United Methodist Church in Pottsboro, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a cause of your choice in Bob’s name.

It’s hard to say good bye to such an extraordinary business partner. Bob, you made things happen, always positive about getting every deal across the finish line. Your sense of humor, the care you took with every client, made it a joy to work alongside you everyday. Gone but never forgotten.
Bob was a wonderful person. He will be greatly missed.
Bob loved to tell people that when he was a rookie real estate agent all those years ago, I was his very first buyer — and that meeting was the beginning of a friendship I will always treasure. From our first meeting, he struck me as that rare person who could make you feel as though you’d known him forever. Over the years we shared many real estate adventures, but my lasting memories of Bob will always be his easy laugh and signature twinkle in his eye.
Through Bob, I also had the joy of getting to know his wonderful family. It was always clear how much they loved him, and how deeply he loved them in return. That devotion shone through in every long lunch we shared at his favorite places around Denison.
Rest in peace, Roberto. Thank you for the laughter, the kindness, and most of all, the friendship.
