Sharon Kay Day Shubert, 62, passed on to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Sharon was born in Denison, Texas on August 11, 1959, the daughter of Lloyd and Jackie (Boxley) Day. Sharon loved artwork, music, cooking, home and family. She worked in most all mediums of art from woodburning to portrait sketching. She wrote poetry, has published short stories and won awards in writing.
She is survived by her husband, J. Kenneth Shubert; mother, Jackie Day Rushing; sons, Justin Cassell and Casey Cassell; brother, Ken Day and sisters, Karen Hawkins and Deborah Murphree.
Services are pending.
