Priscilla Ann Crawford Mitchell went to be with her Lord on October 19, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to Floyd Wilson and Ruth Alice Crawford.
A proud graduate of Bryan Adams High School, Class of 1967, Priscilla lived a life filled with faith, family, and love. She later moved from Kingsville, Texas, to Denison, Texas, where she made her home and was residing at the time of her passing.
Priscilla is survived by her son, Sean Edward Mitchell, and his wife, Christina of Riviera, Texas, along with her two beloved grandsons, Scott Edward and Ryan Edward Mitchell of Corpus Christi. Her siblings also survive her: Joanella Crawford Hanes and husband Troy of Denison; Alice Crawford Burnett of Longmont, Colorado; Mary Crawford Tobola and husband Gene of Fort Worth; and Floyd Wilson (Buster) Crawford Jr. and wife Amy of Rowlett. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews—Allison, Erin, Ashley, Steven, Todd, Allan, Roger, and Betsy—as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruth Crawford.
Priscilla had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of Parkside Baptist Church in Denison. Her love for her Lord was evident to all who knew her.
The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to the staff of Homestead of Denison for their love and care of “Miss Pris,” and to Guardian Hospice of Sherman for their compassion and support during her final weeks.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 N. Lillis Lane, Denison, Texas 75020. A private family inurnment will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Homestead of Denison or Guardian Hospice of Sherman in memory of Priscilla.
