Dwight Lee Jones, 89, of Pottsboro passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Homestead of Denison. He was born on August 13, 1923 in Ottawa, KS to Lowell Clyde and Orpha Del Hill Jones. Mr. Jones attended Ottawa High school and received his Bachelors degree from Kansas State University. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, Kiwanis and the Shriners. He is survived by his son, Kevin Jones and fiance, Julie Maynard of Edgewood, TX.; Step-son, Jerry McPeters of Dallas; and Step-daughter, Roberta Easley of Panama City, FL.; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Bobby Hancock officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home
