Born in: Denison, Texas
Resided in: Sherman, Texas

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jada Renee Jones anĀnounces her passing on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the age of 42. She was born in Denison, Texas, on July 14, 1983 to RobĀert and Joyce Jones of Pottsboro.

At home, Jada’s world revolved around her three beautiful daughters. She married Jeff Lease on December 15, 2012, and together they devoted their lives to the hapĀpiness and security of their children. Jada made sure she was present for every minor moment and major milestone, never missing a game, try-out, or recital for one of her girls. She also served as a nurse at Wilson N. Jones for more than 10 years, most recently in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Jada loved music, television, reading, and garĀdening. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh that could crack up a whole room. She loved sharing her taste with others, whether through one of her many carefully cuĀrated playlists or proud photos of her flowers blooming in the spring and summer.

Jada was preceded in death by her father, RobĀert Jones of Pottsboro; her grandparents, Bill and Effie Jones of Denison; and her father-in-law, Wayne Lease of Garland, Texas.

She is survived by her children, Jenelle (19), Jinger (12), and Jewel Lease (10); her husband, Jeff Lease; her sisters, Starla and Rebecca Jones; and her mother, Joyce Jones.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A family night will be held on Sunday, July 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson Moore Pottsboro Chapel, 511 FM 120, Pottsboro, Texas. Funeral services will take place at Johnson Moore PottsĀboro Chapel on Monday, July 6 at 1 p.m.
