She was born on October 25, 1944 to William and Marie Severs.

Survivors include her sons, Curtis Severs, Jimmy Gray, and Michael Gray; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home.
