Dorethia Shields, 94, passed away in Denison at Denison Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
Mrs. Shields was cremated and no services are planned.
Dorethia was born on December 15, 1918 in Kemp, Oklahoma. She married Claud Shields and he preceded her in death on January 12, 1996. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Travis Shields, Sr. and his wife, Catherine of Denison; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Denison Funeral Home.
