Jean was born on December 18, 1930 in Needingworth, a small village in England, and attended Holywell Church of England Primary School. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maxie H. Morrison, parents George and Maude Seekings, and sister Hazel Kanelis.

Jean is survived by her beloved children, Geoffrey C. Morrison and wife Debbie of Universal City, TX., Shanee J. Copeland and husband Rick of Irving, TX., and Elaine A. Short and husband Devlin of Denison; grandchildren, Scott Morrison, Kristian Copeland, and Cody Copeland. She has several nieces and nephews and a host of many other loving family and friends.

Jean worked as a bus conductress in St. Ives, England until she met Maxie H. Morrison of Denison, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in England at that time. They were married February 7, 1951 and spent over 51 wonderful years together until Maxie's passing on April 23, 2002.

Jean loved being a homemaker, wife, and mother. She loved being with her family, and was a wonderful cook, especially her homemade bread. She was known for her smile and never met a stranger. Anybody that met her quickly came to love her. She was an extremely giving person and had a great sense of humor. We have many great memories that can never be replaced. She was truly "special" and one of those "one of a kind" persons. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.
