Patricia Ann “Patty” Quassa, born August 20, 1956, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at Carrus Hospital in Sherman, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Patty was the daughter of the late Jame and Connie Harrah. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Quassa; her son, Eric Harbin, and his wife, Danielle; her sister, Sharon Sumrow, and her husband, Dennis; and her cherished grandchildren, Alexis Morrison, Brett Morrison, Maddox Harbin, Madison Harbin, and Lindsey Harbin. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Jason Morrison. Patty dedicated 36 years of her career to Texas Instruments and Raytheon, where she specialized in repairing semiconductor boards. More than just a workplace, it was a community where she built lifelong friendships. After retiring in 2022, Patty and Jeff enjoyed traveling the country together, exploring its beauty and creating treasured memories. Her loyal dog, Tia, was also a constant source of joy and comfort in her life. Patty embraced life with energy and love. She enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren, camping, traveling, working in her yard, and challenging herself with puzzles. She also loved playing bingo and poker during visits to the Choctaw Casino. Above all, Patty cherished her family and the time spent with them. Her final days were marked by compassion and care from the dedicated staff at Carrus Hospital, who ensured her comfort and dignity while also supporting her family. Patty will be remembered for her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and her deep love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. A celebration of life will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 401 W Woodard Street, Denison, TX 75020.
